What we do:
The OMO Group provides a wide range of quality medical, educational,
and ancillary services, in both domestic and international markets,
to public and private sectors in the capacity of private contractor
and/or consultant. The range of these services include physician,
dental, veterinary, hospital administration, and educational
services, and other para-professional and direct support services as
may be required or appropriate.

Does The OMO Group employ full and part time?
Yes, The OMO Group provides direct employment opportunities, while
allowing you to practice your specialty at a federal/local
government or civilian state-of-the-art-facility.
How much experience is required?
Most of our health related positions require at least one year
experience. For recent graduates, the one year requirement may be
waived. We are always seeking individuals who have had prior
military experience, although this is certainly not a requirement.
Do I have to join the military to work under your contract?
No, You are required to perform services, as a civilian, at military
installations, other federal government establishments, and local or
state government facilities.
Must I be licensed in the state for which I am applying?
No. With the OMO Group, your license in ANY State or Territory of
the U.S. allows you to work in federal facilities anywhere in the
U.S.
Will I have to be On-call?
Generally, On-call is not a requirement, however, during the
employment process you will be notified.
What type of benefits does The OMO Group offer?
We offer the following benefits depending on the contract: Medical,
Dental, Prescription drugs, Health Insurance(20K), 401(K), Worker's
Compensation, Malpractice Insurance coverage.
How soon after employment do health benefits start?
Generally, depending on the contract, health benefits start 30 days
from enrollment date. The enrollment date is usually the employment
start date.
Can I enroll my family members in the company health plan?
Yes, however such enrollment is at the employee's expense, based on
group rate.
Will you withhold Federal Income Taxes on my behalf?
Yes, you are considered an employee of The OMO Group, Inc. As such,
all IRS rules of employer/employee relationships will apply.
What will my salary be? How do you determine my salary?
Your salary will be determined at the time of employment. Salary
determination is based on the following: Approved price proposal;
Position for which applied; Level of experience; Additional or
unique training; Location of service performance, etc.
How often am I considered for a pay raise?
Generally, you are considered for a pay raise after 12 months
employment with The OMO Group, subject to satisfactory performance,
and cost of living index. Satisfactory performance is defined as
attentiveness to uniqueness, task, responsiveness, requests, etc.,
within a 12 month period.
Do you pay overtime or compensatory time?
Overtime and/or compensatory time are usually not a requirement of
our contract positions. However, overtime or compensatory time may
be required to accomplish the mission. When that occurs, approval
must be granted by your supervisor, in writing, before working
overtime.
Do you pay relocation allowances or expenses?
Generally, our contracts do not have provision for relocation
allowances or expenses. Relocation allowances or expenses may be
considered for certain specialties, and would be determined on a
case by case basis.
How and by whom am I paid?
You are paid by direct deposit to your checking or savings account,
or check through mail. Your wages and benefits are paid by The OMO
Group, Inc.
How long do opportunities for employment last?
Our employment opportunities normally run between One(1) and Five(5)
years, depending on contract requirements, availability of funds,
and prevailing government polices.
Do you require a contract for a specified time or a certain
number of years?
Our goal is to have employees who want to work for us throughout the
duration of our contract and who are happy and satisfied in their
job. Minimum notification of job termination is specified in your
employment agreement, and employment letter.
What are the expected hours of schedule work?
Generally, you will be required to work eight (8) hours per day,
forty (40) hours per week, Monday through Friday. Deviations and
alternate schedule requirements will be specified in your employment
agreement and letter.
What are the possible available locations?
We are a national and international organization. The availablity of
locations are dictated by contracts we acquire and future
anticipated contracts. |
